Are you interested in representing the views of governors on a forum or committee

If you are interested in playing an influential role with DAG we would be delighted to hear from you, we often have vacancies for DAG representatives within key boards such as:

Our current vacancies are:

The Devon Association of Governance (DAG) has the following vacancies for the Devon Education Forum (DEF).

Primary Governor  (maintained x 2)

Primary Governor (maintained substitute)

Primary Governor (academy substitute) *                 

Secondary Governor (maintained substitute) *

Secondary Governor (academy substitute) *

The Devon Education Forum (DEF) is made up of representatives from schools and academies, but with some representation from other non-school organisations, such as nursery and 16-19 education providers. The forum acts as a consultative body on some issues and a decision-making body on others and meets termly in County Hall Exeter. DAG is committed to a transparent and representative election process to ensure that DAG Schools Forum members fully represent DAG constituents in their governor subgroups (primary, secondary, special and academy*)

*Note:  Academy representatives represent the proprietor bodies of academies and are, therefore, not necessarily restricted to principals, senior staff or governors.
