Devon School Consultation

The Governing Body of The Three Rivers Federation is consulting on a proposal to increase the age range of Stoke Canon Church of England Primary School from 4-11 years to 2-11 years of age from 17th April 2023.

The school has early years places that are currently run as a Governor run Preschool. The preschool is situated within the existing school buildings. This proposal is concerned with the preschool becoming part of the school rather than operating as an extended service.

If the proposal is approved by the federation governing body, following this consultation, the preschool will become part of a foundation unit which will include the reception children.  Children of preschool age will be registered on the school’s roll.
