What We Do

About DAG

The Devon Association of Governance (DAG) is the association of school Governing Boards, including Clerks, in the Devon Local Authority.  It was formed in 1993 and is part of a nationwide network of Governing Boards through membership of the National Governance Association.

Schools Forum is an influential body within education, the composition, constitution and procedures of which are governed by national regulations.

Different types of Devon Schools

Devon has a diverse school system, schools that are maintained and supported by the Local Authority and schools that are independent from the Local Authority but directly responsible to the Secretary of State for Education.

f40 Group

The f40 Campaign for Fairer Funding in Education group was formed in 2007 to represent the 40 lowest funded Local Authorities in England with the aim of co-ordinating a campaign to central government for a national education funding formula

National Governance Association

The National Governance Association (NGA) is the representative body for school governors and trustees in England
