Chairs Forum 26th June 2023 : Academy and Maintained Schools – the path to a fully trust led system

DAG supports chairs in schools in our Devon Local Authority to come together to consider topics that have real impact on Devon governance.

The next DAG Community Network for Chairs event on Monday 26th June at 6pm will provide an opportunity for chairs from across the county in maintained and academy schools to join an interactive hour-long session to discuss the path to a fully trust school system.

DAG is delighted that Hannah Woodhouse, SW Regional Director, Department of Education will be outlining the direction of travel for schools, the department’s policy on academisation and the 2022 White Paper, the Academies Regulatory and Commissioning Review and the development of a clear approach to trust quality and commissioning. There will be time for questions.

All chairs in Devon schools are automatically members of DAG and have free access to DAG events, newsletters and website resources.
