This week it was reported that Ofsted removed a school’s ‘inadequate’ inspection report from its website after admitting its findings were not reliable following an internal review.

It is very rare that Ofsted deem their report’s findings unreliable following such a review. It has now set aside the inspection, with a new graded inspection to take place as soon as possible. Of 718 complaints against Ofsted judgements last year, just three resulted in a change in the overall effectiveness grade.
