Save the date – 4th November 2023

The Devon Association of Governance Conference is back and will be held on Saturday 4^th November 2023 at Exeter Racecourse, with the theme ‘Making an impact through good governance’.

Please join us to celebrate 30 years of DAG supporting good governance at our free Saturday morning conference. This event will be a rare opportunity for governors, trustees, clerks and governance professionals to come together to hear from inspirational speakers on key educational themes including:

• National Governance Association (NGA) – Lynn Fletcher, NGA’s regional governance development lead for the south west on how governance can make a real impact
• Ashley John Baptiste – Broadcaster, TV Presenter and Inspirational Speaker on growing up in care and how the intervention of a caring adult can positively shape a life.

We will also hear from Devon County Council’s new Chief Executive, Donna Manson on their vision for the future of education in the county and from a leading academy organisation on governing with impact.

In addition there will be an opportunity to network with others involved in governance visit stands and enjoy some of our special birthday cake!
