Further appointments at Devon County Council

The changes at Devon County Council continue with the following appointments:

• Stuart Collins – substantive role as the new Director of children and Young Peoples Futures for Devon
• Kellie Knott as the interim Deputy Director for SEND in Devon
• Matthew Gouldas Strategic Lead for Inclusion and other services for Vulnerable Children across the county.

The substantive role of Deputy Director of Education had been advertised and the new appointee will be starting in December. As a result, Rachel Shaw, Head of Education (Delivery) and Matthew Shanks Head of Education (Strategy), will continue in post until then and then return to their school roles.

These new leadership appointees will join Donna Manson, Devon County Council Chief Executive who started in post in February of this year
