Devon Education Forum New Members

The Devon Association of Governance (DAG) is pleased to confirm the following new members of the Devon Education Forum from 1^st January 2024:

Primary Maintained Governor              

Niki Warner, Decoy Primary School, Newton Abbot

Jill Larcombe, Castle Primary School, Tiverton

Following the election process notified on the DAG website, only one nominee came forward for each of the vacancies, so DAG has appointed this new member to the Devon Education Forum (DEF).

DEF is made up of representatives from schools and academies, but with some representation from other non-school organisations, such as nursery and 16-19 education providers. The forum acts as a consultative body on some issues and a decision-making body on others and currently meets termly.
