Devon school consultations

The Following schools have consultations taking place:

Pathfield Special School:

The governing board of Pathfield Special School is consulting on a proposal to reduce its number of registered places from 186 to 168 from September 2025 as a result of a phased closure of the provision at the Pathways Unit.  Further information, including reasons for this proposal and proposed alternative arrangements is available until the consultation ends on 23rd February 2024.

West Croft School:

West Croft School is consulting on a proposal to establish a Resource Base at the school for up to 10 learners with Communication and Interaction Needs from September 2024. Further information is available until the consultation ends on 22nd February 2024.

Recent consultation outcomes:

Landkey Primary School:

Following consultation the Regional Director for the South West has approved a change to the age range of the school from 4-11 to 2-11 from January 2024.

Brixington Academy Primary School:

The Regional Director for the South West has approved the establishment of a Resource Base at this academy for up to 10 learners with social, emotional and mental health needs from September 2024.

Holsworthy Community College:

The Regional Director for the South West has approved the establishment of a Resource Base for up to 10 learners with Communication and Interaction Needs at this college from September 2024.
