Keeping Children Safe in Education 2024

This latest version of the statutory guidance has been released and applies to all schools and colleges, and is for:

• headteachers, teachers and staff
• governing bodies, proprietors and management committees

At the moment it is for information, pending publication of the final version which does not come into force until September 2024. It sets out the legal duties schools must follow to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people under the age of 18.
