This free Saturday morning conference will give governors, trustees, clerks and governance professionals an opportunity to hear from expert speakers on key educational themes. This year we are focusing on how all those involved in governance can be empowered to future proof their governance by staying up to date with key issues.

Artificial Intelligence: Julia Adamson MBE, Managing Director, Education and Public Benefit is a trustee at Uffculme MAT and will be considering the challenges and benefits of AI in education and governance.

Environmental Sustainability: Nicki Schantz, South West Hub Manager, Climate Ambassadors on the existing initiatives around environmental sustainability, resources available and how to develop school climate action plans.

Risk Management: Alastair Campbell, Head of Risk Assurance and Internal Audit at Bishop Fleming on working with education providers throughout the South West to help them minimise risks and achieve their aims.

Next-Gen Governance: Samira Sadeghi, Director of Governance, Confederation of School Trusts (CST) talks about one of their current themes supporting executive and governance leaders.

The Future of Education in Devon: Donna Manson, Devon County Council Chief Executive, will update our members on the progress being made towards their vision for the future of education in the county.
