Outstanding Governance Awards 2025

The National Governance Association (NGA) Awards 2025 are now open for nominations.

The NGA awards are the only national awards celebrating the vital role of governors, trustees, clerks and lead governance professionals.  They offer a unique opportunity to reflect on governance practice improvement and impact while gaining recognition through a rigorous judging process.

These awards celebrate outstanding governance practice and showcase the powerful contribution governance has made to schools, trusts and the education of children and young people.

Categories include:

• Outstanding governance in a single school
• Outstanding governance in a multi academy trust
• Outstanding clerk to a governing board
• Outstanding lead governance professional.
