Following the government reshuffle, three new MPs have been appointed ministers at the Department of Education.
Education secretary Bridget Phillipson has kept her role, but schools minister Catherine McKinnell, children’s minister Janet Daby and early years minister Stephen Morgan have left the department.
They have been replaced by Georgia Gould, Josh MacAlister and Olivia Bailey, all elected to parliament for the first time last year. The government is yet to announce roles and portfolios for all the newcomers.
Baroness Smith remains as skills minister.
