Devon County Council School Funding Consultation Information Sessions October 2025

This year there is a particular focus on joint planning and co-production of this year’s Schools Funding Arrangements Consultation.

DCC are keen to ensure that this year’s consultation is planned and implemented together, that all school leaders understand the intended impact of the new Inclusion and Learning strategy as well as school funding and ensure that the consultation is genuine and not a ‘done deal’ ahead of the process.

This year’s Schools Funding Arrangements Consultation 2026/27 will run from Monday 6^th October to Sunday 19^th October 2025.

Devon Schools Leadership Service (DSLS) Autumn Locality Briefings will incorporate an information session on the Schools Funding Arrangements Consultation on:

Monday 6^th October (pm) in North & Mid (Cedars Inn, Sticklepath)

Tuesday 7^th October (am) South & West (Buckfast Abbey Conference Centre, Buckfast)

Tuesday 7^th October (pm) Exeter & East (Westpoint Conference Centre, Exeter)

A separate, online twilight information session for Governors, Early Years partners and Special Schools will be offered, although the date is yet to be confirmed.
