The New IDSR

The School Inspection Data Summary Report (IDSR) information has now been updated.

To support Ofsted inspectors in building a clear picture of achievement, the new IDSR will include helpful context flags about pupil cohorts. These indicators will highlight things like cohort stability, levels of disadvantage and the proportion of pupils with SEND in each school, giving inspectors a fuller understanding of the school’s context.

As the renewed Ofsted education inspection framework commenced on 10 November, a webinar on what schools need to know about the data Ofsted will use is available. In particular, the webinar will share details about the achievement evaluation area and its use on school inspection, provide a brief overview of what has changed in the IDSR and how Ofsted inspectors will use data on inspection and answer any questions.
