Devon Music Education Hub’s Annual Report 2024-25

Devon Music Education Hub’s Annual Review 2024-25 provides an overview of their work with schools, partners, and communities during the past academic year.

The report highlights statistics from the work that Devon Music Education and their partners do to support music education for children and young people in Devon, Plymouth, and Torbay, including:

• 11,506 instruments loaned to schools settings and hub partners
• 20,000 plus children and young people engaged in performances workshops and projects
• £684,000 invested in schools and Hub partners
• 82 School Music Development Plan visits completed
• 371 Teachers and music educators engaged in CPD opportunities
• 22 Lead Schools for Music appointed
• 5,180 new instruments purchased through DfE capital grant
• 94% of schools engaged
• 100 plus concert workshops and live music performances
• 4000 singers taking part in large scale vocal projects
• 276 out of school music making activities supported.
