DCC Changes

Devon County Council (DCC) have announced that Jack Newton, Deputy Director and Head of Inclusion & Learning is leaving.

He joined DCC in an interim capacity to lead the development of their Inclusion and Learning Service in the autumn of 2024. He said “I have genuinely valued my time in Devon. There is a strong shared intention across leaders, schools, and communities to build inclusive learning communities where children and young people can belong, participate, and thrive. The foundations for this are now much stronger, and I believe Devon has real potential to become the inclusive, ambitious education system its residents deserve.“

He is moving on to his next job in London and we will advise our members when his replacement is appointed.
