For many families school holidays can be a difficult and stressful time and with the cost-of-living crisis, keeping children fed and entertained at home can be expensive.
Children receiving benefit-related free school meals have the chance to join in four days of exciting activities over the Easter Holidays as part of the government-funded Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme.
This year Devon County Council have teamed up with more than 60 activity providers across Devon to offer eligible five to 16-year-olds a very wide range of indoor and outdoor activities, including sports, crafts, treasure hunts, storytellers and magicians, alongside healthy meals.
The current offer is for four days at Easter, sixteen days in the summer and four days at Christmas, with a day being four hours long including a nutritious meal.
Parents or guardians of eligible children will receive a unique HAF code from their school or direct into their mailbox. Full details can be found on the Devon County Council website.
