In ‘Volunteer’s Week’ DAG would like to thank all of you who volunteer in our schools to improve the chances of children in Devon.
If you are you interested in a new challenge then DAG is looking for governors and trustees to join its existing members of the Devon Education Forum
Schools forums are an important contact point between the local authority and schools and through debate, discussion and challenge, secure financial strategic planning, including the new ‘safety valve’ scheme, in place to reduce the deficit driven by SEND demand.
We are looking for new members to join us in September 2024 and would be delighted to hear from governors and trustees who would consider taking on this additional voluntary role. Meetings are held four times a year on a Wednesday morning and can be attended remotely and in person at County Hall in Exeter.
Full details of the Devon Education Forum election process that is currently running can be found here.
If you are interested please contact us as soon as possible on [email protected] for more information.
Names of governors or trustees wishing to stand for election to the Devon Education Forum will need to be forwarded on [email protected] by 17th June 2024.
