Pupil premium rate update

The pupil premium conditions of grant for the new financial year 2026 to 2027 have been published.

The updated pupil premium rates are:

• £1,500 for pupils in reception to year 6 (up £35)
• £1,100 for pupils in year 7 to year 11 (up £25)
• £2,690 for any pupil identified in the October school census or the alternative provision census as having left local authority care (up £60)

Service Children Premium is different and schools and academies will receive £360 for eligible pupils (up £10).
