Jamie Oliver’s Good School Food Awards are open for nominations.
He wants to celebrate the inspiring governor or school leader going above and beyond to ensure young minds are given the fuel they need to succeed. He understands the important role governance plays in shaping school environments and putting the focus on food at school.
School food matters and the health of our children matters, with a workforce of 80,000+ people, the school food system is bigger than the Royal Navy, serving more than 10 million pupils and nearly 5 million meals every day – that equates to about 41 meals per second.
